Dong-Hyuk “Easton” Kim

Dong-Hyuk “Easton” Kim, Ph.D. received his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from Inha University, South Korea, in 2017, 2019, and 2022, respectively. He has industry and academic experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Inha University in 2021, followed by postdoctoral research positions at Inha University in 2022 and at the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology from 2022 to 2023. He is currently a Limited-Term Instructor and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Georgia (2023–present). His current projects focus on the analysis of heavier-than-expected traffic impacts on pavement performance and the assessment of infrastructure vulnerability under extreme weather conditions. His research and technical interests include AI–GIS–based infrastructure management, data-driven pavement and asset management, and climate-resilient transportation infrastructure. His personal interests include board games and tennis.
